They are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to work on a project for the CFO. THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT : Preparing and own the annual budgeting process , from first draft through to final sign-off. Building detailed, bottom-up budgets based on real operational activity, including headcount, volumes, service levels and contract changes . Modelling income, direct costs, overheads and margin , taking account of phasing, seasonality and contractual changes. Challenging assumptions where they appear optimistic, inconsistent or unsupported, ensuring budgets are realistic and deliverable. Supporting accurate cash and margin forecasting , ensuring budgets and phasing profiles feed into wider financial forecasts. Helping improve budgeting processes, templates, models and assumption libraries to drive consistency and efficiency.
