  • Apply chartered‑level professional judgement to risk‑based fire engineering decisions, ensuring alignment with UK legislation, Approved Documents, BS guidance, and emerging regulatory expectations under the Building Safety Act.
  • Act as the senior technical lead within the business for fire engineering matters, providing review, challenge and assurance.
  • Provide clear guidance and advice, particularly on complex or higher‑risk projects.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Eng status through the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent body.

  • Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple instructions and priorities effectively.
  • Integrity, a commitment to excellence, a collaborative approach and a passion for advancing building safety.

  • Career development investment.
  • Payment of professional fees and membership subscriptions.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (full time entitlement).
  • Opportunity to buy a maximum of two weeks’ additional annual leave each year.
  • Electric Car Scheme.
