The postholder will work collaboratively with Building Surveyors, Project Managers, Cost Consultants and Principal Designers (CDM & BR) to integrate fire safety compliance into Trident’s wider delivery model. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the preparation, review and sign‑off of fire engineering deliverables including fire strategies, technical design statements, regulatory compliance reports and supporting analysis for complex buildings.
  • Apply chartered‑level professional judgement to risk‑based fire engineering decisions, ensuring alignment with UK legislation, Approved Documents, BS guidance, and emerging regulatory expectations under the Building Safety Act.
  • Act as the senior technical lead within the business for fire engineering matters, providing review, challenge and assurance.
