MEP Consulting Lead in City of London

We are seeking a talented MEP engineer wishing to take on a leadership role and eager to make a real impact on Trident, our exceptional client base and on the sector more widely. The purpose is to develop a sustainability led MEP solution that supports our clients from initial assessments to feasibility studies, design and through to practical completion.

Responsibilities

• Service development: Establish our propositions, processes, tools and marketing materials in partnership with our business development teams to support the growth of our MEP services.
• Relationship & business development: Establish relationships across Trident and with our clients to identify and develop MEP opportunities that will deliver on our shared decarbonisation goals.
• Team development: Grow a high performing and collaborative team over time.
• Partnership development: Build on Trident’s excellent network of partners to support the delivery of profile and engage with industry to raise your and Trident’s profile.
• Service delivery: Delivering highest quality advice and support to our clients:

• Assessments: Support condition surveys, asset and portfolio reviews and vendor reports with MEP inspections and advisory surveys.
• Feasibility & MEP Strategies: Develop MEP strategies and feasibility studies to support our clients' commercial and carbon reduction objectives as well as wider stakeholder needs.
• Design: Oversee, review and support the development of practical, low carbon and innovative MEP designs for existing portfolios, refurbishments and development projects.
• Delivery: Coordinate with project teams, monitoring progress, costs & quality, providing solutions to construction challenges to support delivery.
• Handover: Oversee the commissioning and handover of MEP systems to clients and ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, safety regulations and client requirements.

Skills and qualifications

• Extensive experience in MEP consulting with deep technical expertise and relevant qualifications.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit and IES.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience of effective budgeting and cost control.
• Proven ability to deliver from strategy, to feasibility, detailed design and implementation.
• Demonstrable capabilities in construction management.
• Strong team leadership & communication skills.
• Excellent client management ability, with a strong track record of leading and winning bids.
