About the role: Join a dynamic and supportive therapy led team and embark on a fulfilling journey as a Community Reablement Assistant. In this flexible and rewarding role, you will be working alongside Occupational Therapists and Reablement Officers playing a vital part in helping individuals regain their confidence and independence after a hospital stay. As the first point of contact for those returning home, you’ll provide essential support and bring positivity to their recovery journey, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day. What you’ll do * Supporting people with their personal care and empowering them to do as much as possible on their own. * Monitoring and providing feedback on the progress of people’s goals. * Assisting with medication and encouraging independence. * Completing care records and other relevant paperwork. * Facilitating access to community groups and services. A valid licence and use of a car for work purposes will be required as the role involves visiting people across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. 35 hours per week working 5 /7 days including alternate weekends No prior care experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed and grow in your role. We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care. What we offer: * Competitive Hourly Rate: From £13.47 per hour with opportunities for career and pay progression.
