Do you want to make a real difference? Join our team at Avon View as a Care Assistant. Located just outside Christchurch, Avon View is a residential home offering nursing, palliative, residential, and dementia care across three floors. We support individuals with complex needs through a compassionate, person-centred approach.
What you’ll do:
- Support clients with personal care, nutrition and hydration.
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of moving and assisting and the use of equipment.
- Maintain dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
- Be able to work flexibly across shifts including days, evenings and alternate weekends.
What you need:
- The ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Empathy with the needs of the clients.
- IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care or willingness to achieve this.

We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.
