We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive Community Support Team. The Community Support team provides housing related support to individuals living in supported accommodation. The service assists people to maintain their independence within the community, thus preventing loss of their home or tenancy and/or otherwise unnecessary use of more institutional forms of care by supporting individuals to gain, re-learn or maintain life skills in order to carry out their own day to day tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting and paperwork.

We are seeking candidates who have a genuine wish to make people’s lives better by actively supporting our clients in a person-centred way. You should be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a flexible approach.

What you’ll do:

  • Responding to enquiries from clients, families, and professionals, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team member or resource efficiently and courteously.
  • Performing administrative tasks, including drafting letters, internal communication, reports, forms, and templates with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managing and maintaining confidential records, including creating and interrogating data within specialised IT systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with confidentiality requirements.
  • Providing comprehensive office support services, such as organising filing systems, collecting and analysing manual data, managing stationery supplies, preparing accurate meeting minutes, and processing and verifying accounts and invoices.

What you need:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Competent IT skills with experience using Microsoft systems including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A minimum of GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English is required.

Part-time - 18 hours per week.
