We’re excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to become part of our dedicated multi‑disciplinary team working within Tricuro’s Intermediate Care Services. The role will be primarily based at Coastal Lodge, a 36‑bed unit providing short‑term rehabilitation and reablement support to help individuals regain independence and return home. With links to the community based reablement service and working collaboratively with therapy, nursing and medical colleagues from community health services, there are opportunities for continued professional development and variety of occupational therapy experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Delivering high‑quality therapy services to clients transitioning from hospital care.
  • Collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams, including Care Staff, Therapists and Social Workers, to review therapy pathways, set goals, and plan discharges.
  • Supporting care staff at Coastal Lodge to deliver personalised care aligned with each client’s therapy objectives.
  • Offering expert advice across Tricuro’s services, including complex moving and handling, equipment recommendations, minor adaptations, and targeted interventions.
  • Assessing and managing risks in partnership with clients, their families/carers, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Participate in multi‑disciplinary clinical supervision and training opportunities.

What you need:

  • Registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy (Diploma or Degree).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Part‑time – 22 hours per week
