Job Role:

  • This is an office-based role with a requirement to visit remote sites in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
  • To be an architecture or architectural technician graduate with at least two years of experience working on residential and commercial projects.
  • Must be happy and comfortable liaising with clients and working closely with the wider construction design team.
  • The ability to conduct accurate site surveys and site investigations, producing drawings and reports from these.
  • The ability to produce high-quality drawings in Revit based on the client’s needs.
  • You must be experienced in the design and detailing process as projects are moved to the construction phase.
  • You absolutely must love living in a remote part of Scotland, in the Highlands, and have a keen sense of adventure and hold a full driving license.
  • Willing to travel elsewhere in the Highlands and Islands because your projects are scattered across a wide geographical area, including travel to remote islands, so you must be comfortable on the water.
  • Be happy working in a small family business.
  • The ability to take responsibility and accountability for your decisions and your actions.
  • You will be part of the wider design team, as we are the main contractor.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail.
