As Water Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of water network installations across the Kent region. You’ll lead WIRS-accredited teams, manage daily operations, and ensure all works are delivered to the required technical, safety, and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.
In this role, you will oversee multiple water projects from planning through to commissioning, ensuring operational control and compliance at every stage. You’ll manage site teams, plan programmes of work, monitor health and safety, carry out technical audits, and ensure all certification and WIRS documentation is completed accurately. You’ll also work closely with clients, NERS and GIRS supervisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction.
You’ll be an experienced water industry professional with a strong background in water distribution and network construction at management or supervisory level. You’ll be confident leading teams, managing compliance and audits, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. A proactive, organised, and hands-on approach is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. You will hold relevant industry qualifications, including:
- Network Construction Operations (Water) to Supervisor level
- NRSWA Supervisor
- EUSR Utility SHEA (Water)
- CSCS
- National Hygiene Scheme registration
