We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Water Operative to join our Water Department! This role involves carrying out essential water mains and service connection work on residential properties. You will work as part of a team delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work to support water infrastructure across the region.
What you will be doing:
- Carry out water installation and maintenance work in residential properties, including service and main connections.
- Support the safe and efficient delivery of water services, working to agreed standards and procedures.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete tasks such as pipe laying, repairs, and basic excavation.
- Follow job instructions and site plans to ensure accurate and timely completion of works.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and supervisors to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain health and safety standards on site and ensure all work is carried out with minimal disruption to customers.
The Person:
- Water Hygiene certification.
- SHEA Water qualification.
- NCO Water Mains and/or Services.
- Full UK driving licence.
