We are currently looking for a Jointer Mate to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in the utilities sector, working alongside experienced jointers on a variety of electricity connection projects. You will assist with site preparation, cable handling, and support jointing activities, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress further in the future. Experience is desirable but not essential β weβre looking for someone reliable, hard-working, and eager to learn.
What will I be doing?
- Supporting trained jointers with jointing activities and site setup
- Pulling, laying, and preparing LV cables for new connections and upgrades
- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and tidy working environment
- Following all safety procedures and company protocol
- Keeping vehicles and work areas clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Taking on opportunities for training and development in electrical jointing
What do you need to have?
- Has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Works well as part of a team
- Is safety-conscious and takes pride in their work
