We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor for our Closing Room based in our factory in Northampton.

The successful candidate must have previous experience for this role and ideally other skills in this room.

As a room supervisor you will:

· Control of production: you will be responsible for production and quality of your department,

· Supervisor role: you will support and guide your team and liaise with the other departments and Managers,

· Work allocation: you will manage the work flow of your team to ensure the best output,

· Production planning: you will liaise with the planning department to ensure the progress of the production in the room and report immediately any issues,

· Maintenance of the room: you are in charge of your room and therefore need to regularly check and report any issue,

· Production work: you will contribute to the room production as and when needed.

The following skills, knowledge, and abilities will be needed for a Supervisor to be able to perform his/her duties effectively:

· Good general standard of education,

· Previous experience of working in a similar role within the footwear or garment industry,

· Acceptable knowledge of Health and Safety principles,

· Capability to understand expectations regarding quality,

· Sound communication aptitude in delivering beneficial teamwork,

· Must be a team player, with attention to detail.
