The Technical Drawing Assistant reports to the Technical Product Lead and Technical Director and is responsible for producing technical drawings and providing technical support to both internal colleagues, external colleagues & customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating drawings of sectional and one-piece storage tanks complete with all connection details to satisfy customers' requirements and comply with all relevant water industry standards.
- Generating CAD drawings of the company’s other products when required, i.e. tank housings, kiosks, etc.
- Liaising with customers in order to establish their requirements and to provide technical support and solutions.
- Provide technical support to all departments and customers for both standard range and bespoke products.
- Updating CAD drawings and technical specifications of our product range.
- Any other duties as assigned, to support the Company.
Qualifications / Skills
- Organised
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and staff at all levels.
- ‘Can-do’ attitude
- A background in engineering.
- Fully proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Autodesk inventor or similar 3D design software – (preferred but not essential)
- Commercial awareness.
What Do We Offer?
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
32 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays)
