The Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the client's current equipment while advising solutions to optimize their production techniques. To provide service excellence to our customers, presenting the Company in the best possible way.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out on-site maintenance of client's specialist equipment, including electrical and hydraulic-powered equipment, ensuring minimal downtime through on-site repair and maintenance.
  • Attend site to install, service, and restore facilities in breakdown situations.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to ensure efficient and reliable maintenance of clients' equipment, processes, and applications.
  • Provide training to customer staff.
  • Provide accurate and detailed job reports within the specified time.
  • Conduct onsite product demonstrations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Management team.

Candidate Profile

  • Good understanding of reactive repair and maintenance in a field-based capacity.
  • Experience with spray machines, hydraulic pumps, mechanical engineering, electrical controls, petrol/diesel mechanics, or general engineering.
  • Good knowledge of composites manufacturing equipment and hazardous material handling.
  • Experience in hands-on product training.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills.
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the reader's needs.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, dealing with clients from engineers to Directors.
  • IT literate (training provided for our service software application).
  • Full UK driving licence.
