Service Engineer

Overview

Join Our Team as a Service Engineer at Tricel Portsmouth. Tricel Portsmouth is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to lead reactive and planned service, maintenance, and commissioning of pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units at customer sites. This role focuses on delivering service excellence and hands-on technical support for customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site maintenance to an array of pumping equipment including booster sets, pressurisation units and degassing.
• Carry out on-site overhauls, service, repairs, installation and commissioning of pumping equipment including booster sets, pressurisation units and degassing.
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota with existing engineers to provide emergency support.
• Attend site to troubleshoot breakdowns and restore facilities where possible.
• Provide accurate and detailed job reports within the specified time.
• Provide accurate and detailed timesheets within the specified time.
• Carry out any and all requests by management to benefit the department.

Candidate Profile

• Good knowledge of pump applications including all aspects of building services.
• Good understanding and knowledge of controls systems.
• Good level knowledge of the latest technology in the pump industry.
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to present written information in a structured and reader-appropriate manner.
• Good telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels (engineers to Directors).
• IT literate (training provided for our service software application).
