What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a full understanding of the relationship between the four Tricel divisions (Water, Construction, Environmental, Distribution) to maximise buying efficiency
- Review, evaluate and monitor existing suppliers, parts, products and services
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and stabilise the supply chain
- Reduce inventory levels and lead times; optimise delivery frequencies
- Ensure ERP system data is regularly cleansed and accurate
- Resolve supplier issues and support internal team
- Collaborate on New Product Introductions (NPI) with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
- Support warehouse operations and finance functions
- Establish and maintain purchasing KPIs and reports for Senior Management
Who We’re Looking For
- A motivated individual with a genuine interest in a career in procurement
- Understanding of supply chain principles (CIPS or similar qualification advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Project management experience or exposure is a bonus
- Knowledge of raw materials and production processes desirable
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
