Join Our Team as a Service Engineer at Tricel Portsmouth. You will be the driving force behind top-quality service and maintenance, covering reactive and planned service, maintenance, and commissioning of pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units at customer sites. This is an opportunity to showcase technical skills while delivering service excellence that represents Tricel at its best.
Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site maintenance to pumping equipment including booster sets, pressurisation units and degassing.
- Carry out on-site overhauls, service, repairs, installation and commissioning of pumping equipment including booster sets, pressurisation units and degassing.
- Work on a 24 hour call-out rota in conjunction with existing engineers to provide 24 hour support.
- Attend sites to diagnose breakdowns and restore facilities where possible.
- Provide accurate and detailed job reports within specified timescales.
- Provide accurate and detailed timesheets within specified timescales.
- Carry out any reasonable requests by management to benefit the department.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Good knowledge of pump applications, including all aspects of building services.
- Good understanding and knowledge of control systems.
- Solid knowledge of the latest technology available in the pump industry.
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to present written information in a structured and reader-appropriate way.
- Good telephone manner and ability to communicate well at all levels (dealing with engineers to directors).
- IT literate (training provided for service software application).
