About the Company

We're working with a well-established and growing business, with a strong reputation in its specialist market and a genuine focus on supporting its customers. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team that plays an important role in understanding customer needs, researching market developments and helping shape the future of the company's products and services.

This is a varied role that combines research, data analysis and commercial thinking. It could suit someone from an analytical, research or product-focused background who is naturally curious, enjoys understanding how things work and wants to see their findings make a real difference.

The Role

You'll be responsible for gathering and interpreting information from a variety of sources, helping the business understand its customers, identify emerging trends and make informed decisions about its products and services.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, analytical and enjoys getting beneath the surface of a subject. You'll be comfortable working independently, exploring unfamiliar information and using your own judgement to make sense of what you find. Just as importantly, you'll be able to communicate your thinking clearly and explain how you've reached your conclusions.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in a research, analytical, insights, product or related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends.
  • A curious and investigative mindset, with a genuine interest in learning and understanding new subjects.
  • The ability to absorb complex information, connect ideas and turn your findings into practical recommendations.
  • Confidence using Excel and Microsoft Office to analyse information and present findings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to question information and challenge assumptions.

Why Join?

  • A supportive, down-to-earth culture where people genuinely look out for each other.
  • A varied role where your research and recommendations can help influence real business decisions.
  • Excellent work-life balance with flexible hybrid working.
  • A small, collaborative team with opportunities to work across different areas of the business.
  • A strong focus on personal development, including support for further training and qualifications.
  • Annual bonus based on personal and company performance.

If you're someone who enjoys asking questions, exploring information and using what you discover to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
