We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing international business looking to add an Inside Sales Executive to their Exeter-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, account management, sales support or internal sales who enjoys speaking with customers and wants to develop their career within a supportive, people-focused organisation.
The Opportunity
Working closely with a team of field-based sales professionals, you'll play a key role in developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities and providing outstanding support throughout the customer journey. You'll be working with existing customers and warm enquiries, helping customers find the right solutions, discussing products and promotions, and supporting ongoing account growth. You'll act as a key link between customers and the wider sales team, ensuring opportunities are progressed and customers receive an excellent experience from first contact through to order completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with customers via phone, email and online channels
- Supporting field sales colleagues with customer enquiries and opportunities
- Identifying opportunities to promote products, services and campaigns
- Managing incoming enquiries and converting opportunities where appropriate
- Qualifying and triaging larger opportunities for field sales colleagues
- Processing orders and supporting customers throughout the sales process
- Providing product information and resolving customer queries
- Maintaining accurate customer records and activity within internal systems
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across sales, customer service and operations
About You
