Account Executive Exeter / Hybrid Circa £30,000–£35,000 DOE (Pro Rata) Part-time – 3–4 days per week The Role We’re looking for a commercially minded Account Executive to independently manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of B2B customers. This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone confident owning their pipeline, converting enquiries, preparing quotes, and nurturing long-term customer relationships. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for trade customers, supporting everything from day-to-day enquiries to seasonal pre-orders and bulk purchases. Working within a small, fast-paced team, you’ll have real ownership and influence over how accounts are managed and grown. What You’ll Be Doing Managing and developing key accounts to drive repeat business and long-term value Proactively engaging customers ahead of peak and seasonal periods Coordinating complex orders and ensuring clear communication across teams Following up on warm enquiries and outstanding proposals Managing pipeline activity and customer interactions via CRM Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell based on customer needs Identifying and targeting new trade and B2B opportunities Conducting warm and cold outreach to introduce trade accounts and pricing options Building and maintaining a healthy, active pipeline of new business Supporting planning for high-demand periods throughout the year Gathering pre-orders, tracking availability, and contributing to forecasting Sharing customer insights and demand trends with the wider team Attending relevant trade shows and events Building relationships with partners, planners, and suppliers About You 2–4 years’ experience in account management, sales support or customer success ideally within interiors, homeware or décor Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills Highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities Experienced in preparing quotes and managing CRM systems Comfortable having commercial conversations with B2B customers Strong problem-solver with a sense of ownership Personal Attributes Self-reliant and comfortable working autonomously Commercially aware with a customer-first mindset Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Adaptable, positive, and thrives in a small-team environment Proactive, personable, and confident engaging with customers Why You’d Love This Role Genuine autonomy and ownership of your accounts Part-time flexibility with hybrid working A varied role combining relationship management, sales, and planning Direct impact within a close-knit, collaborative team The chance to shape how trade relationships are built and grown
