Tribune Content Solutions is looking for an experienced SD-WAN Engineer to design, deploy, and support SD‑WAN solutions for enterprise and mid‑market customers. The role combines hands‑on technical delivery with customer‑facing engagement, working closely with pre‑sales, delivery, and managed services teams to deliver secure and scalable WAN solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support SD‑WAN solutions across multi‑site customer environments.
- Lead SD‑WAN implementations, including migrations from MPLS to broadband, LTE, and 5G.
- Produce high‑level and low‑level network designs (HLD/LLD).
- Configure and support routing, QoS, application‑aware routing, and traffic steering.
- Integrate SD‑WAN solutions with firewalls, SASE platforms, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and VPN technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex WAN, routing, and application performance issues.
- Act as a technical advisor during pre‑sales engagements, workshops, and POCs.
- Provide Tier‑3 escalation support for managed services customers.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in enterprise networking with a strong WAN focus.
- 3+ years hands‑on SD‑WAN design and deployment experience.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and IPsec VPNs.
- Experience with one or more SD‑WAN platforms (Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Palo Alto).
- Background in a VAR, MSP, or consulting environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Relevant vendor certifications preferred; experience with SASE, Zero Trust, or automation is advantageous.
