TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction business for an experienced Planning Engineer / Project Planner to join their London office based on The Strand/Charing Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with a civil engineering background to join a business delivering major infrastructure projects across the utilities, power and water sectors, with a strong focus on heavy civil engineering.
The Role
- Develop, maintain and update project programmes across multidisciplinary civil engineering and infrastructure schemes
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting
- Support tender and pre-construction planning activities
- Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities for recovery
- Produce resource, cost and progress reports for internal and client stakeholders
- Liaise with clients and supply chain partners on programme matters
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (highly desirable)
- Proven planning experience on heavy civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Experience within utilities, power or water sectors highly desirable
- Proficient in planning software (e.g. Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject)
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Based in or able to commute to Central London
What's on Offer
- £60,000-£70,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
