Site Supervisor - Industrial Steel-Frame Fit-Out
Location: South Woodford, London
Duration: 5 weeks initially
Working hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Rate: Negotiable day rate
Start date: ASAP
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee an industrial steel-frame fit-out project in South Woodford.
This is a hands-on, site-based position requiring a proactive supervisor who will maintain a strong presence on the ground, coordinate daily activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating daily site activities
- Maintaining an active presence across the site
- Managing trades, labour and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress, quality and productivity
- Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
- Liaising with the project management team
- Completing relevant site paperwork and reporting
- Resolving day-to-day issues to keep the project progressing
Requirements
- Valid 3-Day First Aid at Work certificate
- Relevant site supervisor qualification, such as SSSTS or SMSTS
- Previous industrial fit-out or steel-frame project experience
- Strong knowledge of site health and safety
- Confident managing trades and labour on the ground
- Full PPE
- Relevant references
The initial duration is approximately five weeks, with opportunities to move onto further projects for someone who performs well.
