Are you a skilled Site Engineer with a strong background in heavy civils and setting out? We're looking for an experienced professional to play a key role in delivering a major project in the Civil, Rail, and Utilities sectors.
Role Overview
As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for setting out, maintaining accurate site records, and supporting the successful delivery of complex heavy civil engineering projects. Your expertise in technical execution and site management will ensure project targets are met with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate setting out for heavy civils works, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Maintain high-quality as-built records and ensure documentation is always up to date.
- Assist in producing short-term programmes aligned with overall project plans and objectives.
- Prepare and review key documents, including RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
- Conduct inspections according to ITPs, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Act as the technical point of contact for site teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers to uphold best practices.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in Heavy Civils projects.
- Strong background in Civil Engineering, Rail, NRSWA, and Utilities sectors.
- Expertise in setting out and maintaining accurate as-built records.
- Ability to produce short-term programmes and high-quality site documentation (RAMS, ITPs).
- Solid understanding of inspection procedures and quality assurance.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient with surveying equipment and site engineering tools.
