Site Agent – Water Infrastructure Projects (Permanent)
We\’re recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well‑established civil engineering contractor delivering non‑infrastructure water projects as part of long‑term regional frameworks.
You\’ll take responsibility for two projects in the Stansted area, valued at £1.8m and £5.7m, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, programme management, and client coordination from start to completion. Sewage Treatment works experience required.
The Role
- Lead and manage site delivery across both projects.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical elements of the schemes.
- Coordinate design, subcontractors, and materials.
- Chair progress meetings and report on programme and performance.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and quality on site.
Requirements
- Proven background as a Site Agent or Sub Agent on wastewater projects.
- Experience delivering non‑infrastructure works within live operational environments.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (EUSR / Water Hygiene desirable).
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, cost control, and programme management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
