TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting a Senior Engineer to support delivery of a major highways and civil engineering scheme based in Newton Abbot. This is a key site‑based role, providing engineering and technical support to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and specifications and communicate clearly to site teams
- Support preparation of RAMS, task briefs and environmental procedures
- Implement Inspection & Test Plans, ensuring compliance and hold points are met
- Provide engineering support and resolve technical queries
- Produce and manage permits for works
- Support and mentor Site Engineers
- Oversee setting out, ensuring accuracy and calibration of equipment
- Assist with site sketches and technical communication
- Support change management including design changes and technical updates
- Maintain site diaries and progress tracking
- Assist with procurement of materials and services
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and management systems
Requirements
- Experience in a Senior Engineer or similar role within civil engineering/highways
- Strong understanding of setting out and site engineering principles
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Good knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
