I am working with a well established contractor who is continuing to grow their pipeline of demolition and cut and carve projects. They are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator on a long term contract basis to support pre construction and tender activity across a range of complex schemes. This is an outside IR35 contract offering long term stability and consistent workload within a specialist business.
The role
You will take responsibility for producing accurate and commercially robust estimates, working closely with pre construction, commercial, and delivery teams to support successful tender submissions.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for demolition, structural alteration, and cut and carve works
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Engaging with internal teams and supply chain partners
- Supporting tender submissions and value engineering proposals
- Ensuring estimates align with programme, risk profile, and commercial targets
Experience required
- Proven estimating experience within demolition and cut and carve projects
- Strong understanding of structural refurbishment, temporary works, and interface risks
- Ability to work accurately under tight tender deadlines
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and project teams
