TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting an experienced Section Engineer on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor delivering heavy civils and infrastructure upgrade works at Heathrow Airport. The role covers both airside and landside operations and offers an initial 6-9 month contract with strong potential for extension.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a defined section of works, ensuring technical delivery is compliant with design, programme, and quality requirements, while working closely with the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day engineering delivery for allocated section of works
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, and safety standards
- Undertake setting out, surveying, and technical checks
- Liaise with design teams, site management, and client representatives
- Support production of RFIs, technical queries, and as-built records
- Ensure works are delivered in line with airside/landside safety protocols
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Section Engineer on heavy civils/infrastructure projects
- Prior experience managing subcontractors is essential
- Airside/airport project experience highly desirable
- Relevant degree or equivalent industry qualification
- Valid CSCS card
- Airside pass/security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain)
