A major hydroelectric infrastructure project in Inverness, Scotland is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality management function across a technically complex civil engineering programme. This is a permanent role with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the project Quality Management Plan in line with ISO 9001 requirements
- Lead the quality audit programme, carrying out regular inspections and hold point sign-offs
- Manage the non-conformance process, ensuring NCRs are raised, tracked and closed out effectively
- Oversee the compilation and review of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) across all works packages
- Provide quality guidance and training to the site and engineering teams
- Manage the handover documentation process, including as-built records and O&M manuals
- Act as the primary interface with the client's quality representatives
What You Will Need
- Degree qualified or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline
- Lead Auditor qualified (ISO 9001) preferred
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ITPs and hold point procedures
- Experience with concrete structures, earthworks or water infrastructure quality requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and strong report writing skills
The Package
- Salary: £74,000 - £78,000 per annum
- Car Allowance: £5,750
- Full-time permanent position (45 hours per week)
- Project based in Inverness, Scotland
