I am working in partnership with a Tier One infrastructure contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a senior leadership role within the technical services function and would suit an experienced Engineering Manager who thrives in complex, regulated project environments. This position sits at the heart of both work winning and project delivery, providing technical leadership, assurance and strategic input across multiple projects and engineering teams.

The role includes:

  • Leading and managing the engineering function across assigned projects or sector
  • Providing technical assurance across design, construction, commissioning and handover
  • Supporting bid teams with technical input, risk identification and value engineering solutions
  • Line managing Design Managers and overseeing engineering capability across the supply chain
  • Driving innovation, modern methods of construction and best practice engineering solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, procedures and statutory requirements
  • Acting as a senior technical interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the recruitment, development and retention of high calibre engineering talent

Salary: £85,000 to £110,000 plus package
