TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to support AMP8 wastewater projects at Newbold STW in Rugby. This role will focus on mechanical design integration, procurement, subcontractor management, and package delivery through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and third-party mechanical designs
  • Review P&IDs, BIM models, GA drawings, and supplier technical submissions
  • Ensure compliance with WIMES and client specifications
  • Produce and manage mechanical procurement packages
  • Support technical subcontractor evaluations and procurement activities
  • Manage long-lead mechanical equipment and procurement schedules
  • Oversee subcontractor technical compliance and delivery on site
  • Support FATs, commissioning, installation, and handover activities
  • Manage technical changes under NEC3/NEC4 contracts

Requirements

  • Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong UK water/wastewater project experience
  • Knowledge of pumps, pipework, package plant, valves, screening, dosing, and hydraulics
  • Experience with BIM/3D design reviews and AutoCAD
  • NEC contract experience
  • CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene
