M&E (Mechanical) Quantity Surveyor Central London Salary: £45,000-£60,000 + Excellent Package Start Date: ASAP We are a well-established and highly regarded pipework contractor with a strong presence in the mechanical & electrical (M&E) sector, delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East. With a turnover of £20 million and a growing pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Central London. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial management of multiple live projects, working from our Central London office with regular site visits. You\’ll be part of a collaborative commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with project delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans Procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts Supporting project delivery with accurate financial reporting Ensuring all commercial activities comply with contractual and company standards Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery Requirements: Minimum of 3 years\’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor Previous experience with an M&E contractor is highly desirable Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT/NEC) Proficient in cost control, procurement, and commercial management Excellent communication and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence (for site visits) What We Offer: Competitive salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Attractive benefits package Long-term career progression in a thriving, supportive team Exciting projects with high-profile clients Central London office location, with easy transport links
