TRIbuild Solutions are partnering with a leading contractor delivering a nationally significant infrastructure programme. We are seeking an experienced CAD Manager to lead CAD coordination, standards, and quality across a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the production, management, and quality assurance of CAD information, ensuring alignment with project specifications, BIM execution plans, and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate CAD information within a Common Data Environment (CDE) using Bentley ProjectWise
- Implement and assure CAD standards in line with project and BIM execution requirements
- Lead CAD quality assurance and reporting, engaging with internal teams and the supply chain
- Manage CAD data in line with Works Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Asset Breakdown Structures (ABS)
- Develop and maintain CAD standards and QA rules for construction and as-built information
- Manage IFC schema implementation, validation, and exchange formats (including IFC4 and iDGN)
- Configure and oversee ProjectWise CAD quality tools and workflows
- Manage OpenBuildings Designer data groups, project libraries, and schedules
- Produce and coordinate 3D models and drawings using Bentley OpenBuildings Designer, Autodesk Revit, and Civil 3D
- Support construction and as-built BIM model delivery in line with asset owner requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Bentley ProjectWise and OpenBuildings Designer
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D
- Good understanding of BIM principles (PAS 1192 / ISO 19650)
- Proven experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle
- Strong background in 3D CAD production
- Educated to HNC level or higher (or equivalent experience)
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Bentley certification advantageous
