TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to support a major tunnelling and heavy civils package on a high-profile infrastructure project. This role will be based on a complex tunnels and shafts environment, involving TBM works, SCL tunnels, and associated civils packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all Temporary Works activities on site
- Ensure compliance with BS 5975, CDM 2015 and project procedures
- Liaise with designers, checkers and site teams on design briefs and risk categorisation
- Manage Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS) and site engineers
- Review, approve and manage TW designs, checks and documentation
- Issue Permits to Load / Proceed and oversee TW implementation & removal
- Monitor inspections, maintenance and compliance throughout lifecycle
- Provide technical briefings on design constraints, risks and methodology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a TWC on major civils / tunnelling projects
- Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and Temporary Works procedures
- Civil/Structural Engineering qualification (HNC/HND minimum)
- TWCTC, SMSTS, CSCS
- Experience in high-risk, complex construction environments
