My client is an independent real estate developer specialising in the living sector. As a result of impressive growth, they are seeking an experienced Investment/Portfolio Analyst to join their dedicated London based team. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for providing the financial analysis and portfolio performance and reporting for the team.
Role includes:
- Build and maintain asset and fund-level financial models (cashflows, returns, sensitivities)
- Update models regularly with actuals, revised assumptions, financing changes
- Ensure consistency between asset-level models and consolidated fund models
- Support valuation analysis, hold/sell scenarios, refinancing analysis, capital planning
- Prepare portfolio performance dashboards and KPI tracking (NOI, occupancy, pipeline, debt metrics, IRR, cashflow)
- Track asset-level performance vs business plans and budgets
- Support quarterly and annual portfolio reviews with variance analysis and insights
- Maintain portfolio-level data across assets and financing structures
- Conduct research on market trends, rents, yields, transactions and competitor performance
You will be outstanding academically and interpersonally with previous experience gained in a real estate principal investment, investment banking or advisory role. Advanced modelling and property valuation / underwriting skills. Experienced in presentation preparation, research and coordination of due diligence.
