Our client is a Media Production company with multiple scripted productions across different territories. Due to continued growth, they now require an enthusiastic individual to join their ambitious Finance team based in Central London. This role is key to the smooth operations of the day to day Finance function. Experience in a television environment would be advantageous, but more crucial is a willingness to learn, take responsibility and grow in a fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing production and corporate invoices on Moneypenny and Xero
- Processing production expenses on Equals and reconciling the Equals accounts
- Processing corporate expenses on Pleo and ensuring Pleo is always funded
- Production and corporate bank reconciliations on Xero and Moneypenny
- Management of the Finance inbox and following up on approvals as needed, verifying bank details and corresponding with suppliers where needed
- Raising intercompany recharge invoices, including providing all supporting documents
- Saving and labelling all invoices that have been approved for payment
- Creating weekly payment lists for all companies
- Setting up weekly payment runs across all bank accounts
- Ensuring all invoices are addressed to the correct company and have the full invoicing details and have been fully approved
- Review of all existing supplier accounts and ensuring the data is correct and up to date
- Checking supplier statements to ensure all invoices have been correctly captured and disputing statements where there are differences
- Other ad hoc projects like assisting with the audit
