The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting a range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Duties will include:

  • Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process
  • Reconciling bank accounts, sales taxes, and payroll taxes monthly
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Preparing small company accounts in line with FRS 102
  • Completing VAT returns using Xero and similar systems
  • Managing payroll processes using BrightPay and Payroll Manager
  • Handling general administrative duties, including emails and phone enquiries
