Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Salary: Up to £24,242.40 pro rata, per annum, plus excellent benefits & £500 Onboarding payment
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time vacancies available
Working hours will include days, evenings, sleep-in shifts and weekends

We at Oaklea Northumberland provide Supported Living Services for people with disabilities and mental health and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join one of our experienced teams in Morpeth.

Support Worker – The Role:
The role involves supporting an older lady who requires 24-hour care. She requires support with daily tasks at home and support attending an over 60’s group locally. She enjoys shopping, having overnight stays away and would like someone who has good culinary skills and a good sense of humour.
Guidance is required for personal care and prompts to eat healthy and exercise. Some knowledge of learning disabilities would be advantageous.
Working hours, which will include a sleep-in session, are: 9am until 9.30am the following day, with the sleep-in session commencing at 10pm and ending at 7.30am the following morning. You will receive a set sleep-in payment for your non-support hours. Experience in using technology i.e. Smartphone/ Tablets/ Laptop is desired but not essential.
