Production Support Operative
Location: This on-site role is an immediate requirement, located at 6 Kilmartin Pl, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 5PH.
Salary: £25,000 plus Company Pension Scheme, 30 days holiday entitlement per year and further benefits available including flexi-time and a generous bonus scheme.
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Aerotron Avotec Ltd is an aircraft component maintenance company working in the civilian and military aviation sectors. Based in Uddingston, the company specialises in the repair and overhaul of Electrical & Mechanical components for the aerospace industry.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to forward their career in the aviation sector, the successful applicant has the opportunity to further progress within the company and expand their technical expertise and education through our learning partnerships.
The Production Support Operative role involves:
- The re-working of aviation components and accessories.
- Clean and inspect parts.
- Re mould parts using press tool and re paint spray parts.
- Completion of paperwork.
- Inspect and quality control parts before passing for despatch.
- Good at working with hands and using tools and machinery.
- Able to follow written instructions from technical manuals with minimal supervision.
- Good team working.
- Keen to work and develop career with highly professional company.
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment.
- Experience in press moulding and spray painting is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Previous experience in car maintenance/spray painting would be useful.
- Previous experience using computers would be desirable.
