Hours: Monday to Friday (with every second Saturday required, but will get a day back the following week for this)

About Us: First Mortgage are one of the UK’s longest established mortgage brokers and have been providing free impartial mortgage advice for over 25 years. Originally established in Scotland, we have since expanded our free mortgage advice services to cover the whole of the UK, securing our clients many billions of mortgages in the process.
Job Role: First Mortgage are seeking experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisers to join our award-winning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to contribute exceptional advice and customer service within our retention operation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert mortgage and protection advice over the phone to clients, focusing on renewals and maximising case sizes
- Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition and the benefits to clients
- Provide protection advice in line with mortgage offerings
- Achieve consistent sales targets in the mortgage and protection sector
- Ensure all advice is compliant with FCA standards and regulations
- Work in a consistent and compliant manner to FCA standards
- Take on a minimum of 20 pre-qualified appointments each month from an existing client base
- Handle appointments and consultations in a flexible manner
- Collaborate with a dedicated Case Manager to ensure successful client outcomes
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- CeMAP qualified
- Previous experience in delivering mortgage & protection advice is essential
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to provide telephone-based client advice
- Strong knowledge of mortgage and protection products
