Location: Office based in Morpeth but moving to the Washington area
Salary: Up to £45k per annum, depending on experience plus a Company Car or Car Allowance

We are seeking a talented SHWEQ Advisor to become an integral part of our SHWEQ team. There's never been a more exciting time to join us. With increasing investment in water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure, we're growing fast - and we're looking for passionate people to grow with us.
What you'll be doing:
- Reporting directly to the SHWEQ Manager, you will assist in the continual improvement of Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environmental and Quality by providing advice and guidance to the business.
- The provision of professional SHWEQ advice and hands-on support to the regional delivery teams.
- Carry out site, depot, and facilities inspections.
- Contribute to the continuous development of SHWEQ Policies and Procedures.
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis and preventative actions.
- In collaboration with the SHWEQ and Compliance Advisor, conduct Management System auditing.
- Contribute to SHWEQ working groups, committees, and forums.
- Deliver proactive on-site SHWEQ training.
- Carry out contractor audits, reviews and approvals.
- Attendance and contribution to client and third-party seminars, whilst obtaining learning and development opportunities for the business.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Possess the skills to compose user-friendly risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
- Full clean UK driving licence and a willingness to travel UK wide with some overnight stays.
- A good communicator with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Strong IT and presentation skills.
- Collaborative site inspection experience, using pragmatic solutions to overcome challenges, shortfalls, and recognise good practises.
- Train the trainer or coaching and mentoring skills.
