Princes LHS Ltd is a well-established electrical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality and reliability.
We are now on the lookout for a fully qualified Electrician and testing engineer who holds up to date 18th edition and inspection and testing qualifications to carry out electrical inspection and testing as well as supervising others and verifying certificates as the Qualified Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Site supervision of other electricians including regular updates and toolbox talks
- Work alongside electrical/solar manager assisting where required
- Health & Safety responsibilities when on site.
- Be able to prepare RAMS, risk assessments and Method statements when necessary.
- Inspection and testing on site of mainly domestic and some light commercial environments such as pubs and hotels.
- Helping out on small domestic electrical works when required.
- Liaise with NICEIC to ensure compliance where necessary.
- Quote remedial works following tests
- Must be able to work unsupervised liaising directly with colleagues and customers.
- Work is mainly within 1 hour of our office, however, the successful candidate must be willing to travel and stay over on occasion, expenses will be paid.
- Willing to be flexible to meet the business requirements.
- Must have at least 10 years electrical experience
- C&G 236 parts 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- 18th Edition Regs
- C&G 2391 or equivalent testing qualification
