Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB1 1HW

Salary: £26,000 per annum + Benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week including some weekends and evenings (shift patterns: 4pm-12am, 12pm-8pm, 6am-2pm and 9am-5pm)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Company:

Cintra Language Services Group provides high quality interpreting and translation services to businesses, public sector and voluntary organisations.

The Role:

As part of our service delivery team, you will have a vital role in establishing exactly what our customers need regarding interpreting assignments, before finding a suitable interpreter from our linguist database. Assignments can vary from home visits with Health Visitors to an interview of a suspect in custody or to attending a case in court. The role involves a wide variety of tasks, from sourcing interpreters and translators to dealing with police officers and handling phone calls, emails and customer requests. This is an interesting role which does not involve selling services or spending all day dealing with complaints. We are seeking committed people who take pride in their work to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Candidate:

  • Customer service experience, particularly over the telephone
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving and organisational skills
  • Computer literate (Outlook and Word)
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision
