This isn't your standard content role. We are shaping the future of inclusive education during a critical period of SEND reform in England. You will operate independently while collaborating closely with Twinkl’s SaLT production team, Curation, CPD, and external stakeholders to drive major strategic projects that support educators, Teaching Assistants (TAs), and the home-education community.
What You’ll Focus On
You will take ownership of five high-impact projects designed to transform how we deliver SaLT provision:
- SaLT Content Strategy & Future Opportunities:Build business cases for growth (focusing on TAs and home educators), monitor and respond to evolving SEND reforms, and develop action plans for Early Years and SEND older learners/secondary students content.
- SaLT Content Audit & Intervention Development:Audit existing resources against current evidence, future-proof our collections, and update theBoost Speech Interventionto better support TAs.
- SaLT User Journey & Onsite Experience:Redesign landing page structure, navigation, and content linking for key collections likeColourful Semantics,Narrative Interventions, andInteractive Games.
- SaLT Collection Completion & Launch:Provide specialist guidance to bring major collections across the finish line, supported by high-visibility marketing and TeachMeet events.
- Professional Engagement & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver live TeachMeet sessions, share insights with the production team, and report on sector developments and competitor strategies monthly.
What You’ll Bring
- Background & Qualifications:Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Qualified Teacher Status for education applicants, or current HCPC registration for SaLT applicants) with significant experience supporting children and young people with SLCN.
- Expertise:Deep knowledge of SaLT-informed approaches, inclusive practices, and the UK SEND landscape.
- Translational Skills:Proven experience turning specialist knowledge into practical resources, training, and guidance for educators.
- Operational Readiness:Permanent UK residency, unrestricted right to work, and access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection for remote working.
How We Will Look After You
- Westfield Health Cash Plan:Claim money back, up to set limits, for everyday healthcare expenses such as dental check-ups, optical care and therapy treatments.
- Annual Leave:33 days inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata.
- Me Day:A dedicated Me Day each year for yourself.
- Volunteering:A paid charity volunteering day each year.
- Twinkl Perks:Free Twinkl subscriptions for you and your family.
- Culture:A friendly, welcoming and supportive environment where collaboration and kindness matter.
