Opportunity to head up and build the marketing function for a market leading executive search firm, operating across UK and US markets with a specialist focus on building GTM teams for VC backed SaaS companies. Their work is centred on outstanding market knowledge, close client partnerships, and a long-term approach to talent strategy. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a proactive, creative and commercially-minded Marketing Manager to lead their marketing efforts globally.

About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that builds the visibility of the business, supports business development, and reinforces their position as a leading partner for some of the fastest growing SaaS businesses globally. This is a hands-on and varied role, suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable taking ownership across the full spectrum of marketing activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work collaboratively with the senior management in shaping their marketing and bringing ideas to the table.

Responsibilities

  • Brand and Content
    • Own and manage the firm's Linkedin presence, including content planning, post creation, and analytics reporting.
    • Draft and design high-quality marketing materials (campaigns, infographics, reports, email newsletters).
    • Collaborate with consultants to convert research and insights into engaging public-facing content.
    • Ensure consistency in tone, design and messaging across all channels.
  • Campaigns and Events
    • Design and deliver marketing campaigns to promote research, events, and client offerings.
    • Plan, coordinate and manage in-person events (roundtables, breakfast briefings, networking drinks, etc.).
    • Create event collateral, manage guest lists, and liaise with venues and suppliers.
    • Evaluate campaign and event success to inform future planning.
  • Media and External Relations
    • Build relationships with key industry journalists and publications.
    • Proactively pitch stories, insights, and research for media coverage.
    • Coordinate interview opportunities and opinion placements for senior leadership.
  • Project work
    • Help with the planning and design of new website, working with founder and suppliers to achieve objectives.
    • Help with the planning and rolling out of a podcast related to the VC industry.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • 3-6 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within a Start-up, SaaS business or executive search.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident managing social media channels (particularly Linkedin) for a professional audience.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a consultative environment.
  • Experience working with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and CRM/email platforms is a plus.
