We are partnering with a high-growth, specialist search firm to hire a M&A Recruiter into their London team. This is a high-impact hire into a specialist practice focused on corporate development, strategy, and deal professionals within private equity-backed, fast-growth tech and tech-enabled businesses.

This role is working for an Executive Search / Recruitment firm in the Recruitment Industry. You will join a growing M&A / Corporate Development practice delivering mandates across:

  • Corporate Development Managers / Directors
  • M&A / Strategy professionals (Associate to Director level)
  • Origination and deal sourcing specialists
  • Transaction-focused hires within PE-backed portfolio companies

The role offers exposure to high-value, senior mandates, working closely with CFOs, CEOs, and leadership teams within high-growth, PE-backed businesses.

The Role

  • Build and develop a M&A / Corporate Development desk within PE-backed, high-growth businesses
  • Act as a client-facing, revenue-generating 360 recruiter
  • Win and deliver mandates with:
    • Portfolio company CFOs, CEOs, and strategy leaders
    • Senior stakeholders within fast-growth, PE-backed environments
  • Run searches end-to-end:
    • Mandate qualification and scoping
    • Market mapping and headhunting
    • Candidate management, shortlist, and close
  • Build a strong network of deal, strategy, and M&A talent
  • Contribute to the growth and positioning of the wider M&A practice

Qualifications

  • M&A / PE Exposure
  • Experience recruiting into M&A, corporate development, or strategy roles OR exposure to PE-backed / high-growth businesses
  • Understanding of deal environments, growth strategies, and value creation

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a 360 recruiter
  • Strong billing track record and ability to win business
  • Comfortable working on senior, niche mandates

Preferred Skills

  • Highly client-facing, confident with senior stakeholders
  • Natural business developer / rainmaker
  • Able to operate in a consultative, high-value market

Pay range and compensation package

  • Base salary: £40,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience and track record)
  • Strong commission structure aligned to high billings
