We are currently working with a growing specialist executive search firm that partners with founders, CEOs and investors to appoint CFOs and senior finance leaders into VC and PE-backed businesses across the UK and US.
Due to significant growth in retained search activity, they’re looking to hire a Head of Research (or an experienced Senior Researcher ready to step up) to play a central role in delivering senior finance leadership searches.
The position offers the opportunity to:
- Lead research across high-profile CFO and finance leadership mandates
- Partner closely with founders and senior consultants on UK and US searches
- Own market mapping, candidate identification, outreach and assessment
- Drive improvements to research processes, documentation and delivery standards
- Help shape and build the research function as the business continues to grow
They’re particularly interested in individuals with executive search experience and exposure to either:
- VC-backed startups and scaleups; and/or
- CFO and senior finance leadership searches
The business operates on a predominantly retained model, has a strong reputation within the investor-backed ecosystem, and offers a remote-first environment with regular London meet ups.
Location: Remote-first, with a preference for candidates who can regularly attend meetings in London. Applications are welcomed from individuals across the UK, and exceptional candidates further afield will also be considered if they have a strong track record in Executive Search.
If you’d be open to hearing more, I’d be happy to share further details and arrange a confidential conversation.
