Job Description
- What you’ll do…
- Plan, create, innovate and develop menus that align with the brand concept and seasonal availability.
- Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste and presentation standards. Maintain consistency in food preparation and portion control.
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team.
- Foster a positive, efficient and professional kitchen culture.
- Organise staff rotas, labour cost and workload effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff development. Ensure compliance with food safety, H&S and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor food costs, minimise waste and manage kitchen budget.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
- Support special events, tastings and menu launch.
- Work closely with F&B Manager.
- Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do.
You’ll support your team by leading by example, keeping them involved and motivated; helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing the best TRIBE experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions.
Qualifications
- What we are looking for…
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Strong culinary skills with relevant professional training (level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certification or equivalent).
- Commercially savvy, you know your way around a budget and forecast and have a strong understanding of the financial expectations of a successful restaurant and kitchen operation.
- You are a natural at leading and managing a team, someone who creates a tight-knit community thanks to a hands‑on management style and enthusiasm.
- You are able to work under pressure and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
- You are a born optimist, who always put our guests, colleagues, and communities first.
- You are your authentic self.
- You are a courageous entrepreneur and can turn your hands to anything and are not frightened to explore and experiment.
