About the role As an Investment Manager at Tribe, you'll play a central role in the management of the Snowball Fund. The Snowball Fund is an impact‐focused fund‐of‐funds investing across private markets globally, including private equity, private credit, clean energy infrastructure, affordable housing, sustainable forestry and alternatives. The strategy is diversified across impact themes and fund structures, with a clear objective to deliver competitive risk‐adjusted returns alongside measurable positive impact. This is an important role in a growing business and team, created to help support Snowball's next phase of growth as the platform scales in size and external reach.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership across the full investment lifecycle and actively contribute to fundraising and investor relations, while gaining broad exposure to global private markets, multi‐asset class portfolio management, and a wide range of impact investment themes, managers, and strategies.
The Investment Manager will lead on fund sourcing, screening, due diligence (including financial, impact, operational, legal and team due diligence for making fund investments), presenting proposals for Investment Committee approval, ongoing portfolio monitoring and engagement, period market scanning and thematic research. Reporting to the Investment Director, the Manager will be directly responsible for driving investment and impact performance of the Fund.
The role will also require active contribution to fundraising efforts and investor communications including presenting the Fund to prospective investors and at external events; and contributing towards the preparation of high‐quality fundraising materials, quarterly investor reporting and website content.
You'll work across the firm — collaborating with our investment, impact, operations and marketing teams — to deliver a seamless and thoughtful client experience. And crucially, you'll bring a passion for sustainability and impact and a belief in the positive role finance can play in shaping the future.
